The leadership of the Upper and Lower house assembly, Abdi Hashi and Mohamed Mursal met in Mogadishu on Friday to cement relations.
First Deputy Speaker of the Lower House, Abdiweli Sheikh Mudey and his Upper House counterpart, Abshir Mohamed Ahmed were also present.
The two speakers of the house jointly held a press conference to announce the resumption of new cooperation after working relations soured earlier over claims by the Upper house power grab by its counterpart.
They agreed to form a joint parliamentary committee to implement the new commitment.
Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo played a key role in bringing the two sides closer and eventually end their difference.
