Somali PM tours troops at General Gordon training base

Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre toured Somali National Army officers undergoing training at General Gordon military facility in Mogadishu.

accompanied the new Somali military chief, General Odowa Rage Yusuf, the premier and his team were briefed by the instructors on the progress made on the capacity building exercise.

The premier who addressed the recruits urged to complete their course before deployed to the front line as part of offensive against the armed group al-Shabaab.

Hassan Kheyre assured to the new servicemen about the his government commitment to provide all necessary support including the clearance of remunerations of members of the armed force to strengthen the quest for peace and stability in the country.
