At least one person has been injured in Bossaso town of northeastern Somalia after landmine hit the car.
According to Puntland security officials, the landmine was planted on a road frequently used by Puntland security forces.
The officials blamed Al-Shabaab for carrying out the attack.
The injured soldier had reportedly been rushed to hospital where he undergoing treatment.
No group has yet claimed the responsibility for the attack.
