Somali government has set a committee to investigate last Thursday’s brawl at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport.
The brawl reportedly flared up between immigration police officers and plain-clothed NISA agents.
There had been damage to windows, cameras and equipment.
Somali prime minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has condemned the fist fight, vowing to deal with those responsible.
In a statement, Minister of Internal Security, Hassan Hundubey has appointed a 5-member team to investigate the incident.
It is not yet officially clear what caused the melee but a dispute reportedly erupted over immigration procedures for three visiting YouTubers including two Ghanaians and a Somali.
The incident led to injuries of Seven immigration officials among them two in critical condition.
One staffer was reportedly suffered broken teeth while another was severely hit on the chest.
Computers and sections of the arrival were damaged, the source said. A video from the scene shows a confrontation between the two sides.
