The Mayor of Mogadishu who also doubles up as the governor of Banadir region, Abdirahman Omar Osman is reported to have been wounded in explosive attack on Wednesday.
Several people including his deputies and some of the district commissioners of Mogadishu are also said to have been hurt in the incident that occurred in the Banadir regional headquarters.
Unverified reports say the explosive device seem to have been planted at the office of the Governor.
