At least two people including Turkish national were killed and several others sustained injuries after suicide bomber targeted a construction site outside Somali capital.
Sources at Erdogan Hospital confirmed that the bodies of two people, Turkish national and a Somali were brought at the hospital.
According to Turkish foreign ministry, four other Turkish nationals were injured in the attack who are currently undergoing treatment at Erdogan Hospital.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry condemned the attack and pledged solidarity with the Somali government and the people.
The militant group claimed responsibility for the attack. Similar suicide bomb attack on the road construction workers in 2019 claimed lives of over 80 people including two Turkish engineers.
Al-Shabaab militant group has been carrying out deadly attacks since 2011 when the group lost control of Somali capital, Mogadishu.
