Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has convened a cabinet retreat in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
The three days meeting will discuss the cabinet programs for the next three months.
“Somali Prime Minister H.E Mohamed Hussien Roble has today convened a retreat for his cabinet at Dacale Hotel in Mogadishu that will take three days to conclude. The cabinet is expected to draft and produce its program for the next one hundred days.” The office of Prime Minister has tweeted.
The premier also said his government will carry on the ongoing pending development projects undertaken by the previous administration particularly in the economic sector.
“My government is committed to speeding up the process. We will work to strengthen the ongoing development programs in the country especially the development of the country’s economic infrastructure.”
Plans for upcoming parliamentary elections slated in December and crucial presidential polls scheduled for February next year are the biggest tasks awaiting the government of Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
