The speaker of the Lower House of parliament, Mohamed Mursal Sheikh has launched developments projects in Hudur on Monday.
He was welcomed by the southwest state regional leader, Abdiasis Hassan Mohamed alias Lafta Gareen who was already in the agricultural town.
Accompanied by members of the federal parliament and cabinet minister, ambassador Mursal laid the foundation stone for a building that will host the Somali Immigration and Naturalization directorate and airport.
The speaker and his delegation also inaugurate the newly built Hudur district administrative block and primary and secondary school institution among others.
His is expected to hold a meeting with the representatives of various community and local government leaders in the area before the end of his trip.
