Somali government officials led by Minister for Transport and Aviation, Mohamed Abdullahi Omar and officials from southwest regional state visited the crash site of African Express cargo plane near Bardale.
The ambassador of Kenya, Lucas Tumbo and his Ethiopian counterpart, Jamaludin Mustafa Omar were part of the delegation that was on fact finding mission.
The visit comes hours after President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and his counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta had phone conversation and agreed to investigate the cause of the accident.
Aviation experts from both countries are expected to get on the work to establish the cause of the rare accident which resulted in the death of six people including two Kenyans.
The plane owned by Kenyan based African express airline was due to deliver significant medical supplies which was crucial for the prevention of Coronavirus.
It crashed few minutes before scheduled landing at Bardale airstrip.
