Somali lawmaker, Adan Hassan Ali has on Saturday passed away in Mogadishu.
His death was confirmed by fellow members of parliament.
The legislator was battling kidney failure in the past week where he was admitted to a hospital in Somali capital.
Various government officials have sent their condolences to the family of the late politician.
The member was part of the house finance committee and lower house representative from Hirshabelle state.
