The Mayor of Mogadishu Omar Mohamud Mohamed Finish met with the British Ambassador to Somalia, Ben Fender in Mogadishu on Monday.
The meeting at UK embassy discussed a range of issues including ways to support the Banadir Regional Administration in the areas of development and job creation.
The two officials also deliberated ways of enhancing cooperation and improving security.
Mayor Finish who was appointed on August said they discussed they agreed with UK officials ways to boost support to his administration in various areas.
Since his assumption of office recently, Mayor Omar Filish has been holding introductory meetings with senior Federal Government officials and representatives of Somalia’s international partners operating in the capital.
