A high level delegation from Ethiopia have on Thursday arrived in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
The delegation is led by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and have arrived to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble received the delegation at Mogadishu’s Aden Abdulle International Airport.
Meanwhile, Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta and their high profile delegation have also landed at Mogadishu’s Adan Abdulle International Airport to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Equally, they were received by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble along with MPs and Senators from the Federal parliament received.
Somali government had on Wednesday imposed a 19 hour curfew in the capital to give a free flow and guarantee the security of the delegates and high dignitaries who are arriving in Mogadishu to attend the inauguration ceremony of Somalia’s tenth president.
