A team of health officials has been dispatched Jowhar town to trace people who may have come into contact with Hirshabelle state Minister who tested positive for corona-virus.
Khalif Mumin Toho who is State Minister for Justice. — is in isolation at a hospital in Mogadishu.
Hirshabelle state president, Mohamed Abdi Ware has wished quickrecovery for the minister.
Health authorities are exploring the possibility that he may have contracted the virus while in Jowhar.
In a statement, minister for information, Mohamed Abdirahman Mohamed said Toho had been sick for the last two weeks.
Mohamed confirmed he was transferred to Mogadishu this week for treatment.
Sources told Halbeeg News told that minister had been sick in a hotel in Jowhar for ten days.
Mohamed expressed fears many of his colleagues may have contracted the diseases since the sick minister came in contact with them.
