The new leader of Galmudug regional state of Somalia, Ahmed Abdi Kariye has appointed new district officials for Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug state.
A statement from the office of Galmudug President, Ahmed Abdi Kariye has named Abdirahman Ali Mohamed aka Geedaqorow as the new district commissioner of Dhusamareeb, Abdi Haashi Aroole as the deputy district commissioner in charge security and politics and Abdihakim Abdullahi Warsame as the deputy district commissioner in charge of social services.
Abdiaziz Farah Aden was also appointed as secretary to the district office.
The leader directed regional government agencies to closely work with the new officials so that they execute their duties to the people diligently.
Meanwhile, elected regional leader whose inauguration ceremony is scheduled in forthcoming weeks has laid the foundation stone for various projects in Dhusamareb.
The new development initiatives include office suite for various regional ministries and the official residence for Galmudug leadership.
