Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo spoke with his Kenyan counterpart, Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday
The heads of states discussed various issues via the phone conversation including the unfortunate plane crash on Monday in Bardale.
President Farmajo pledged to investigate the cause of the accident that resulted the death of six people including three Kenyan nations acording to Somali Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Ahmed Isse Awad.
” H.E President Farmaajo spoke on the phone with President Uhuru Kenyatta to offer his support and condolences following the plane crash in Bardale last evening. President Farmajo assured President Kenyatta that thorough investigation will be done into this unfortunate crash.” Ambassador Awad said.
The cargo plane operated by African Express airline crash few minutes before landing in Bardale airstrip on Monday evening.
It was transporting medical supplies to the area.
