At least three people have been killed and one person sustained injuries after a car they were traveling in hit by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) suspected to have been planted on the road mid this morning.
The blast which happened in Khada district in Mogadishu has killed the driver and another occupant
According to witnesses, the injured person who was a woman was rushed to nearby hospital.
There was no immediate comment from the police
No group has also claimed the responsibility of attack but the attack has al-Shabaab hallmarks.
