The Federal parliament of Somalia has unanimously approved the new cabinet on Saturday.
The new cabinet was approved by all 188 members of parliament present during the special session with no abstentions.
Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdirahman announced the results of the vote and declared the endorsement of the new council of ministers.
Prime Mohamed Hussein Roble who named his cabinet last week thanked the national assembly for the confidence while urging support from the general public in order for his government to realize priorities ahead including plans on elections and economic reforms.
“I would like to thank the members of the Parliament for their unwavering approval of my cabinet, I call on the Somali people to support us in this priority.” The office of The Prime Minister twitted
