Somalia records first death related to COVID-19.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Information, Ismail Mukhtar confirmed the news.
“The Ministry of Health has confirmed one of the previously confirmed patients who tested positive has died,” Mukhtar said on twitter.
He added, “He was undergoing treatment at Aden Ade hospital before testing positive for the virus.”
58 years old with no travel history tested positive on Tuesday in the capital Mogadishu and succumbed to the virus on Wednesday.
