Somalia’s ambassador to Egypt passes away

Somalia’s Ambassador to Republic of Egypt, Abdikani Mohamed has passed away in Kuwait on Sunday.

The ambassador who was also Somalia’s envoy to the Arab League was battling diabetes for a period of time according to medical reports.

The veteran diplomat served at various capacities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since the 1970s.

He served in Egypt, Libya, and several other Arab league states as an ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
