Somali government has confirmed the death of three people over COVID 19 in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
According to the Minister for Health and Social Services, Dr. Fowzia Abikar Nur the total number of Coronavirus death in the country has jumped to five.
Dr. Abikar further noted that 20 new cases were recorded putting the number of infected persons to more than 80.
The minister appealed to the citizens to take health authorities instructions seriously to avoid the spread of the virus which on a high rate.
The news comes as the capital, Mogadishu braces for the first night of down to dusk curfew on Wednesday.
Somali police force has urged the citizens to stay indoors during the curfew period in an effort to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
