Somalia and Ethiopia have agreed to enhance their bilateral relations following meeting between the prime ministers of both countries.
According to statement by Somali PM office on Wednesday, prime minister Hassan Ali Kheire and his Ethiopian counterpart, Abiy Ahmed held talks in Addis Ababa.
The officials discussed wide range issues including bolstering of the countries’ relationship, economic, political and security cooperation.
During their discussion, the leaders also talked about the outbreak of Coronavirus.
Somalia and Ethiopia this week closed schools across their counties and banned all public gatherings, including sports events, for two weeks.
The decisions were separately announced by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Prime Hassan Ali Kheire on Monday and Wednesday respectively to avert spread of Coronavirus.
