Somali prime minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has held talks with newly appointed special envoy who arrived in Mogadishu this week.
In a statement, the office of the PM said Roble discussed with the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution, Mutlaq bin Majed al-Qahtani.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral co-operation relations between the two countries, developments in Somalia and efforts to achieve national reconciliation, security and stability for the brotherly Somali people.
The Special Envoy also met with former President Hassan Shiekh Mohamud and former Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire.
