President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has made new changes to Banadir regional administration on Saturday.
According to Villa Somalia, the new reshuffle is aimed at improving service delivery in the expanding commercial city.
“President Farmaajo has made new appointments to heighten the quality of service delivery at the Benadir Regional Administration which also manages Our Capital Mogadishu. The restructuring is part of a raft of measures intended to improve the City and address public needs.” The Office of the President said in a tweet.
The new appointment has seen Abdulkadir Mohamed Mohamud as the new deputy governor for finance and management while Ali Abdi Wardhere is the second deputy governor responsible for the security and political affairs of Farah Abdi Dini as Public works and Hirey Ahmed Roble as the secretary.
Somali capital has experienced rapid growth in the past years since relative peace and calm returned.
The city is a favorite destination for Somali diaspora and potential investment targets for major multi cooperation firms.
