Hundreds of families in Somali capital have started fleeing their homes amid military tension in Mogadishu intensified.
Rival forces are controlling several roads in the city with the government and opposition forces mass up for an imminent clash.
Families are seen boarding auto-rickshaws and mini-buses while others were walking on the ghost streets of the town.
Meanwhile, Somali forces have this morning seized several streets previously held by pro-opposition SNA forces. The streets vacated by the opposition are including Abdiqasim street near the former Turkish embassy in Hodan district.
The international partners including EU, UK and US who condemned the violence in the capital have called for calm and dialogue to end the differences.
