The President of Puntland Saed Abdullahi Deni and his Jubbaland counterpart Ahmed Mohamed Islam have arrived in the capital Mogadishu on Tuesday.
The regional leaders who were proceeded by high profile delegate from both sides that arrived in the city on Monday were welcomed by senior officials led by the governor of Banadir regional who also doubles up as the mayor of Mogadishu Omar Mohamed Mohamud upon their arrival at Aden Abdulle International Airport.
Security has been beefed up upon across Mogadishu with major roads leading to the airport and the office of the President closed.

According to schedule, the two will hold talks with representatives from the international community before joining the head of state at his office in Villa Somalia discussions on contentious election modalities.
President Deni and President Islam rejected the outcome of the Dhusamareb 3 meeting in which FG-FMS leaders agreed to conduct indirect elections come on next Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
