Somali Prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre has held talks with Danish Foreign Minister, Jeppe Sebastian Kofod in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
The two discussed ways to strengthen already existing diplomatic ties and continue Danish government support for Somalia.
Danish Foreign Minister, Jeppe Sebastian Kofod. who thanked the warm welcome accorded to him and his delegation while reiterating Copenhagen cooperation in the areas of war on terror and national security.
Somali and Danish officials also discussed engagement in the economic development sector, reconstruction and rebuilding projects for the recuperating horn of the African state.
Somali Premier, Hassan Ali Kheyre met Danish International Cooperation Minister, Rasmus Prehn, in Washington where they discuss Denmark’s support in Somalia’s debt relief process which is expected to conclude in 2020.
