The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble has returned back to the capital Mogadishu on Tuesday evening after a two-day visit to Kuwait.
He was accompanied by the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed Isse Awad and other senior officials.
Prime Minister Roble and his delegation attended the funeral of the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Ahmed Al-Sabah he conveyed condolences from the people and government of Somalia.
During his official visit, the prime minister also paid a courtesy call on the new Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaabir Al-Saba and offered his condolences to the people and government of Kuwait on the death of late Emir Sabah Al-Ahmed.
Mr. Roble visited the grave of the late leader where he prayed.
The two leaders exchanged views on the future of bilateral relations and the importance of maintaining brotherhood and solidarity
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also paid a courtesy call on the Federal Government Embassy in Kuwait, where he met with the Ambassador and staff on the progress made.
