The President of Galmudug state, Ahmed AbdiKariye has appointed new administration for Guriel town in Galgadud region.
A letter from the office of the leader named Farah Abdi Moalim as the new district commissioner for Guriel town while Abdishakur Ahmed Farah was appointed as the deputy in charge of security and political affairs whereas Abdirizack Abdullahi Farah as the deputy in charge of the management and social services.
The new leader directed the various state agencies to work closely with the new administration.
The appointment of Guriel administration comes just a day after the new leader assumed office and announced that the political stalemate in the region was resolved.
Former leader, Ahmed Duale Gelle Haf announced the end of the political stalemate on Sunday when he officially handed over the office to new leader Ahmed Ali Kariye.
Mr. Kariye Qorqor pledged to work towards the development of the state.
