Somalia’s newly elected President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has congratulated the newly elected President of the United ArabEmirates(UAE), His Highness, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed.
In his congratulatory message, Mohameud wished the new president sucess as he takes over the reins of leadership.
“I congratulate His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed on his election as President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.” Mohamud said. “I wish him the best of success, and I ask God Almighty to guide him in leading the Emirates towards further progress and prosperity. I also look forward to close cooperation between us to serve the common interests between our two countries.”
The leader was elected as president on Saturday by the Federal Supreme Council,
Sheikh Mohamed is one of the Arab world’s most powerful leaders.
