Somali Prime minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble has dissolved Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) barely two weeks after the country’s parliamentary and presidential elections concluded.
In a statement, PM Roble said disputed seats will be managed by the National Independent Election Commission (NIEC).
The PM thanked the commission for its commitment to the conduct of the parliamentary and presidential elections.
Somalia held presidential elections mid this month. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was elected as the 10th President by defeating his predicesor Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.
