Galmudug leader, Ahmed Abdi Kariye has vowed that his administration would intensify operations against al-Shabaab fighters barely a day after suicide bomb attack in Galkayo.
Over 15 people died and over dozen others wounded after al-Shabaab suicide bomber blew himself up at Galkayo stadium.
Kariye who was planning to visit the stadium prior the attack has condemned the heinous attack, wishing quick recovery to those injured.
He called on the public to work with the authorities and law enforcement agencies to defeat Al-Shabaab.
The leader said the operations will be started across the state.
Al-Shabaab which once control much of southern Somalia had lost towns and cities to Somali army and AMISOM.
The group controls some districts in Galmudug state.
