Somali Spy Agency has paraded three al-Shabaab suspects following security operations in southern Somalia.
The three who appeared on Jubbaland owned media were said to have been involving in conspiracy to destabilize Kismayo town.
In a statement, Somali National Intelegence and Security Agency (NISA) said three whose names were not mentioned have confessed that they were al-Shabaab operatives and had taken part in several attacks in the town.
“These men were arrested after security forces raided their location in Kismayo following tip off by the public,” the statement reads in part.
NISA said the trio will be arraigned in court after the conclusion of investigations into their cases.
Al-Shabaab has previously carried out attacks in Kismayo.
Dozens of people died in hotel, army bases and government installation attacks by the group.
