Fighters suspected be al-Shabaab have raided a police post village in Mandera county near Kenya’s border with Somalia.
The attack happened late hours of Friday night.
According to residents in Olla village, the militants stormed destroyed Safaricom communication mast before attack the police post to cut off network.
The fighters overran the base and torched the houses of the police officer before fleeing away.
The casualties of the attack to yet to be know as Kenya government did not comment.
Olla which is located Takaba sub-county is on Mandera-Mayale road.
