Newly appointed Chief of Staff, Hussein Sheikh Mohamud and his deputy, Mohamed Amin Sheikh have resumes offices following ceremony held in Villa Somalia.
During the ceremony which took place Saturday, Mohamud took over the office from former director Mohamed Abdullahi Isse.
Former Director of the Presidency Isse pointed out that he handed over documents of debts owed to the Presidency, portfolios of real estate, staff, and procedures of the National Presidency.
The outgoing director pledged to continue working with the government and its leaders in the betterment of the country.
During the ceremony, Mohamud presented plans to improve the priorities for the presidency, thanking Director Mohamed Abdullahi Isse for the good work he has done during his tenure.
Mohamud underlined that no one will be oppressed in the work, and noted that the staff will be rewarded for their efforts.
Meanwhile deputies Abdinur Mohamed Ahmed has also handed over the office to his successor, Amin, wishing success in his work.
The handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Office of the Auditor General.
