Somali federal and regional leaders are still in Mogadishu to discuss national issues for the second day.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is chairing the 4th National Consultative forum participated in by its member states and Mogadishu mayor.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama, and regional state leaders of Jubbaland and Southwest Ahmed Mohamed Islam and Abdazis Hassan Mohamed respectively.
Others are Puntland Said Abdullahi Deni, Galmudug Ahmed Abdi Kariye, Hirshabele Ali Gudlawe Hussein and the Mayor of Mogadishu Yusuf Hussein Jimale.
The leaders will deliberate on the decentralisation of judicial service delivery and delineating the powers of the federal and state levels.
These issues were discussed at the previous NCF meeting on 12 September in Mogadishu.
The leaders will also discuss the nation’s overall security, particularly the war against Al-Shabaab, which has so far yielded noteworthy successes against the group Al-Shabaab and resulted in the liberation of several territories previously under the control of the militant group Al-Shabaab.
