Ethiopian spy officials traveled to Somalia with medical equipment and medicines supplies sent by the Ethiopian government to reach the victims of the terrorist attack in Somalia on October 29, 2022.
Director General of the Somali National Intelligence Agency, Mahad Mohamed Salad has held talks Deputy Director General of Etiopia’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), Sisay Tola.
DG Sisay expressed his condolences over the recent terrorist attack in Mogadishu, Somalia.
NISS’s statement indicated that to avoid the threat of such incidents, it is necessary to cement the partnerships and collaborations related to the fight against terrorism in East Africa.
Sisay announced that NISS will continue to strengthen its cooperation in capacity building and information exchange with its Somali counterpart in the prevention of terrorism.
Mahad Mohamed Salad thanked the Ethiopian government for the medical supply provided.
He also said that they have reached an agreement with Ethiopia, which is a key partner to Somalia, to collaborate in the fight against the threat of terrorism that is spreading in East Africa.
