Somalia and Qatar have agreed to enhance the cooperations between the two countries’ parliaments.
The Speaker of the Somali People’s Assembly, Sheikh Adam Mohamed Nur (Madobe) and the ambassador of Qatar to Somalia Amb. Hassan bin Hamza Hashem have held talks in Mogadishu on Saturday.
The two officials discussed the relations of the countries, development projects implemented by Qatar as well as the cooperations between the parliaments of Somalia and Qatar.
Hashem has convoyed a congratulatory letter from Qatari Parliament which was the completion of the parliamentary and President elections.
Madobe encouraged the Qatari government to redouble its support to the Somali people and government.
