UK government donated millions of dollars to Somalia.

Union Jack waving in the wind.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the UK government in charge of external development has promised Somalia a financial amount of $9 million dollars which will be contributed to the ADRiFi project of the African Development Bank, which is implemented by SoDMA.

The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office made this financial commitment during the international conference on climate change – COP28 held in the United Arab Emirates.

Also, this action and financial donation will contribute greatly to the management of humanitarian disasters in the country, which is primarily drought and severe floods that have hit some regions of the country.

Mohamud Macallin Abdulle, the chairman of the SoDMA organization, thanked the representative of the FCDO, the government and the people of the UK, for their tireless support for the Somali people.

There is a question about the many donations that the world is donating to Somalia as intended. Will they reach the worthy people?
