Somali parliament to debate labour bill

The members of Somali Lower House of Parliament are scheduled to debate.

Labour and man-power development bill on Saturday.

The members will discuss the first reading of the bill and possible amendment on the significant act before its approval.

If it endorsed the bill will help reshape labor and manpower rights in the horn of the African nation, which is challenged by unemployment.

Meanwhile, the office of the House speaker has strongly warned members against absentia during house business schedule.

The notice comes after previous parliamentary sessions were canceled due to lack of quorum.

150 members out of the total 276 are required at each sitting to proceed with the weekly house business.
