The Somali government has vowed to fully commit to agreement signed with Galgadud based Sufi religious sect of Ahlu Suna last month.
Speaking during press briefing, minister for Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Abdi Mohamed Sabriye said the state will fully implement the ten point plan agreed with the religious organization.
Minister Sabriye comments comes a day after Ahlu Suna accused the Federal government for breaching the accord signed between the two sides.
A press statement from the office of the group on Tuesday blamed Prime Mnister Hassan Kheyre administration for double standards.
Ahlu Suna leader, Sheikh Mohamed Shakir who also doubles up as the chief of cabinet at Galmudug state administration declared the agreement as null and void.
He urged the international community to play its role saying the Federal government in Mogadishu will be responsible for any set back in the state.
Somali premier, Hassan Ali Kheyre spent more than five weeks in Galmudug state before finally signing agreement with Ahlu Suna to reach everlasting solution to challenges in the area.
Among points agreed include the full transfer of security to the federal government agencies, reconciliation conference to iron out differences among various communities, free and fair regional elections as well as integration of local forces to Somali armed forces.
