The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the reopening of the Saudi Embassy in Somalia.

The ministry said it was grateful to the Somali government for its efforts to facilitate the reopening of the Saudi embassy in Mogadishu, which confirms the deep ties between the two countries.

The Saudi foreign minister also said that the reopening of the embassy would play a significant role in strengthening relations between the two countries and enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

A Saudi delegation visited Somalia in June to discuss preparations for the opening of the embassy, which has been operating in neighboring Kenya for years.
