Newly appointed Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) envoy to Somalia has presented his credentials to Somali deputy foreign minister, Bilal Mohamed Osman.
The deputy minister and OIC diplomat, Salah Ahmed Salah have met in Somali foreign ministry in Mogadishu.
Osman welcomed the envoy and wished him success in his job saying Somalia hopes him to strengthen the relationship between the country and the bloc.
Both officials discussed wide range issues including current partnership and future collaboration during their meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Federal Republic of Somalia as a founding State of the OIC has always occupied a high place on the OIC agenda and the OIC continues to actively contribute at various levels for achieving peace and stability in Somalia.
