A delegation from Qatari Defense ministry has today reached Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of Galmudug regional state of Somalia.
The officials from Doha who travelled by Royal Air Force plane were welcomed by Somali state minister for Defense, Mohamed Ali Haga.
According to sources, the main purpose of the mission is to assess ways to provide support to a program initiated by the Federal government to integrate Ahlu Suna forces into Somali National Army.
The agreement signed last week involves training and equipment of the contingent hence deployment of federal security agencies in the region.
