Somali prime Minister, Hassan Ali Kheire on Saturday extended condolences to Turkey over the loss of lives caused by a powerful earthquake on Friday evening.
PM Kheire called Turkish vice president Fuat Oktay and wished quick recovery over powerful quake that hit eastern Elazig province.
A 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck Elazig province late Friday and tremors were felt across neighboring provinces.
Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu announced the quake claimed at least 20 lives, according to initial reports.
